I CANNOT live in this
house anymore. I just won’t. Chinenye cried out. But we have our beautiful Tobechukwu
to think of, her husband responded. He is barely 2 weeks old. We don’t need to
put him through such trauma of moving to ano…. It’s not just another house,
Chinenye cuts in. It’s the house I have ever dreamed of staying. Just as I dreamt
that I would marry a man who will be my prince charming and my knight in
shining armor, she mumbled.
Onye responded: see
where your dream has brought us. Because of you, I am a debtor. Even Chibuzor
your younger brother that’s just 15, I borrow from him. We hardly eat good food
in this house. It’s either shawarma as breakfast, pizza as lunch or Coffee at
night. All because you want me to be your shining armor. I am tired. Onye
lamented. Very tired of living a life I don’t even understand, he emphasized.
Oh, so you succeeded in
deceiving me, eeeekwa. When you were making promises that even Jesus himself did
not make while on earth, you didn’t know, now you are complaining. There has to
be a permanent solution to this oooo, if not I’ll just leave you alone with Tobechukwu.
Just as he want about
raising his voice to reply his wife, MAMA walked in.
